Enjoy a perfect holiday vacation on the hill stations of Kerala, a world where tranquility abounds. The dense tropical jungles in these hill stations house some of the most exotic bird and wildlife sanctuaries in the country.

Much of kerala's exotic appeal is centred in the highland area of the western ghats. Rising to an average height of 1520 m, the tropical forests of the ghats house rich flora and fauna. Not to speak of expansive, loamy plantations of tea, coffee, rubber and fragrant cardamom.

All the hill resorts in Kerela offer the most enchanting experience of nature in all its virgin beauty. The major Hill resorts of Kerela are: Munnar, Vagamon, Ponmudi, Mattupetty, Peerumade, Neliyampathy and Wayanad.
Back Waters
A Cruise along the palm fringed waterways of Kerala in a luxury houseboat or ketuvallom is the most enchanting holiday experience in India today. In this world of simple pleasures, you'll skim past ancient chinese fishing nets, water lillies, lush paddy fields, coir villages, rustic homes, temples and coconut groves.

Innumerable lagoons, lakes , canals, estuaries, and te deltas of forty-four rivers make up the 900 km backwater network of Kerala. The major backwaters are Kumarakom, Aleppey, Kuttanad, Cochin, Paathiramanal and Kuttanad.
Most of India’s finest beaches are in Kerala. For virtually its entire 600 km length, the Kerala coast is lined with sandy beaches, rocky promontories and coconut palms.

Each year greater numbers of visitors arrive here in searchof the tranquil, palm fringed beaches. Kerela has a 600 km long shoreline dotted withsome of the finest, most charming beaches of the world, coconut groves, natural harbors, lagoons and sheltered coves.

All of it as peaceful as the rest of the land, washed by the pleasant tropical sun and as pristine as eve. The main beaches are Kovalam, Cherai, Varkala and Aleppey.
Nestled in the lush forests of the Western Ghats in Kerala are twelve wildlife sanctuaries and two national parks. Each one home to rare animals, birds, reptiles, insects and plants. From the endangered

Nilgiri Tahr to the Lion-tailed Macaque. From the Atlas Moth - the largest in the world, to the Travancore Evening Brown, one of the rarest butterflies in the world. From the Neelakurinji that blooms once every twelve years to Podocarpus Walichianus, the only South Indian conifer... The main wildlife sanctuaries are Chinnar, Eravikulam, Idukki, Muthanga, Parambikulam, Periyar, Thekkady and Kumarakom.
The forests of the Western Ghats are punctuated with large and small waterfalls that roar, gurgle and splash down the mountain side.

Almost all these scintillating cascades are the venues for picnics and excursion round the year. The major waterfalls are Athirapalli, Vaazhachaal, Aruvikuzhi, Keezharkuth and Palaruvi.
